The El Paraíso school in Colombia is non-profit and is part of the ONG
(Organization Paraíso).
The money collected for your time in classes will be destined to the aid of the
developing community of Dos Quebradas as one of the tools of improving the
quality of life
 .
Therefore if you wish to make a valuable contribution to the community you can
take advantage of the opportunity to teach it in the local kindergarten, help
with
classes and to teach the English language to the young children, teachers or
relatives.
Volunteer work with be done at an off-site location during the the
months of June, December and January of each year due to the children's school
closure during those months.
During your Spanish studies and volunteer work you will be able to live with a
family where breakfast, supper daily and laundry will be included.
This way with your payment you will also be contributing to the family and to
the cultural enrichment of the family as well as your own.
 Combine the above option with any Spanish program.
A one time registration fee of $ 50 will go to the children’s centre.

Textbook and materials ($ 10 if studying less then 1 week) Home stay including 2 meals per day, laundry
One cooking class
Cultural activities once a week (i.e. theatre, typical
Colombian music, disco)
Organized weekend visits to places of interest such as museums, National Park and thermal baths (cost of admission and local transportation not included).
